Position SummaryThe Media Technology Director evaluates and utilizes new technologies to shape media implementation and optimization strategies. Additionally, they oversee staffing and process development within the agency's department.You will report to the VP, Media Technology.ResponsibilitiesKnowledgeIdentify potential risks, problem solve, and create efficiencies.Advanced knowledge of all media categoriesIntermediate familiarity with market playersEnsure adherence to best practices for brands regardingresearching and analyzing new technology.Responsible for seamless implementation of new systems and processes.Relateconsumer insights to technology usage(mobile apps, different types of targeting, non-standard media, etc.)Foresee strategy and activation of selling and implementation (scope, staffing, etc.) through technology solutionIdentify potential need for proprietary technology (also determine if it's an agency investment vs. paid by the client)Identified as a leader in developing or overseeing clear, impactful strategiesDevelop Media Technology teamBe a resource to Product Managers for technology vendorsIdentify opportunities for process and team expansionShare learnings across clients and teamsFoster a team environment focused on issue resolutionClient RelationshipManage client and procurement relationshipsCollaborate with clients to improve process and efficienciesAdvocate for adoption of new technologies and strategiesProficient in presenting and leading large groupsPredict client expectations and opportunities for scope increaseUnderstanding of industry impacts (GDPR, CCPA, CPRA)Knowledge of mar-tech and ad-tech stack for data privacyQualifications
