About this role

The

Marketing Coordinator

will play a vital role in supporting the Marketing Operations Manager by handling a variety of administrative tasks and coordinating marketing activities. This position is an excellent first step for someone starting their career in marketing. The Marketing Coordinator will assist in executing marketing strategies, managing daily tasks, and ensuring that the marketing team operates efficiently and effectively. On-site : This is a full-time, in-office position at our Santa Ana, CA location.

Key ResponsibilitiesAdministrative Support:

Provide administrative support to the Marketing Operations Manager, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing marketing materials.Content Management:

Assist in the coordination and upload of content for blogs, social media, and newsletters, ensuring alignment with UHSM's brand and strategy.Project Coordination:

Help manage and track marketing projects, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are effectively utilized.Vendor and Partner Liaison:

Coordinate communication with external marketing agencies, brand ambassadors, and other partners, ensuring they receive the necessary support and materials.Event Coordination:

Assist in planning and executing events, including promotional activities, logistical arrangements, taking photos and videos for marketing materials, and coordination with internal teams.Data Entry and Analysis:

Assist in tracking and analyzing marketing data, preparing reports for the Marketing Operations Manager to inform decision-making and strategy optimization.Social Media Support:

Help manage social media accounts by scheduling posts through a social media scheduling platform, monitoring engagement, and maintaining brand consistency.Customer Service Support:

Assist in managing customer reviews and comments on social media and other platforms, working closely with the Customer Service team to ensure timely and appropriate responses.Marketing Materials Management:

Organize and maintain a library of marketing materials, ensuring all assets are up-to-date and accessible to the team.Internal Communications:

Support the expansion of internal communications efforts, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy and branding.General Office Support:

Perform general office duties as needed to support the marketing team, including ordering supplies, coordinating travel, and managing invoices.Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience in marketing, administration, or a related field.Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing tools like social media platforms, content management systems, and project management software.Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and manage relationships with external partners.A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving and task management.Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and consistency.Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, advertising or related field.Passion for marketing, with a proactive approach to keeping up with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices.Experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.Basic knowledge of data analysis and reporting.Experience with graphic design & social media tools (e.g., Canva, Sprout, Adobe Creative Suite).Spanish Bilingual (written & verbal) preferred.What we offer
