Senior Manager, Marketing Communication

JOB SUMMARY

Leads Marketing Communication Projects in planning and implementation of marketing campaigns, product, programming, and related communications strategies to support Direct to Consumer apps, upsell, retention, and engagement. Responsible for guidance and direction to teams and departments for programs requiring execution.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build, implement, and maintain marketing plans that align with organizational and departmental objectives tied to customer engagement, retention, and revenue.

• Recommend new solutions that will support demand generation, retention, and revenue goals.

• Provide oversight of various launch strategies tied to new offers, products and services and related communications.

• Utilize all marketing channels as they’re made available, including digital, direct marketing, media.

• Responsible for execution of communications tactics and vehicles, ensuring they launch on time, accurately, and represent Spectrum’s brand.

• Provide internal communications of projects to support needs at all levels of the organization.

• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.

• Responsible for proofing of department material and tactics to ensure compliance & support of company / brand strategy for messaging.

• Develop recaps and reports for all campaigns, providing analysis on campaign success.

• Present to supervisor, leadership, and Marketing organization as needed, including marketing plans, plan status, and plan recaps.

• Manage internal and external partner relationships.

• Approves projects, PO’s, and invoices as appropriate.

• Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

Knowledge of marketing strategies and procedures

Knowledge of Direct to Consumer apps, upsell, retention, and engagement marketing channels

Ability to prioritize and organize effectively

Ability to supervise and motivate others

Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet)

Ability to create plans, timelines, expense forecasts & process flowcharts

Required Education

Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field or equivalent experience

Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years

Marketing experience - 7

Management experience - 5

Knowledge of cable television products and services
