Boston Engineering, an innovative product development engineering company, seeks a customer-focused Marketing Manager who excels in a fast-paced product and project environment. Are you willing to “jump right in” with excellent team interface and communication skills? Do you have marketing project development and design experience and a hands-on implementation record? Working with the Marketing team, the Marketing Manager brings a high level of success in meeting challenging lead generation and branding goals.

In this role, you will:

Manage marketing projects and people as required within the Medical, Commercial, and Defense engineering consulting business units.

Manage marketing projects and people as required within the Value-Added Reselling of software solutions for multiple principles.

Work directly with the business unit directors, department heads, and team leads to develop strategies and plans and implement the corresponding marketing activities.

Work with the Marketing Director to set, monitor, and report marketing metrics in support of company goals

Manage web development (new web pages and content, updates to existing content, etc.)

Manage social media and other online communication channels.

Manage the creation of written content (press releases, case studies, datasheets, emails, social, whitepapers, etc.) as needed to support marketing goals

Manage tradeshows/events and memberships, including:

Developing strategy around shows

Securing and maximizing sponsorships

Securing speaking/participation opportunities

Managing Internal branding activities related to communications, facilities look/feel, and cross-department coordination

Managing (oversee, review, and approve) a junior marketing person’s work on content creation (social posts, slides, etc.), tradeshow coordination, industry research (trends, hashtags, etc.), document updates, branding updates, and more

Demonstrated Capabilities:

Ability to manage creation of content, including white papers, case studies, presentations, and related thought leadership

Ability to manage creation of website content, coordinate digital postings,

Created customer-facing content that embodies the communication style of Boston Engineering, including thought leadership in new and emerging technologies

Support of employee/internal communications

Managed trade show and event logistics

Lead social media initiatives

Developed themes, plan execution, and implementation of inbound and outbound marketing campaigns

Maintained a customer relationship management (CRM) database

Set, Monitor, and Report Marketing Metrics

BA/BS degree in marketing, business, or liberal arts

3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related field

Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills

Experience working in a professional services firm, preferably consulting

Experience with HubSpot or other Marketing Automation

MS Office proficiency (Word and PowerPoint)

Experience with Social media platforms.

Customer relationship management (CRM) and Adobe Suite experience is preferred

Mindset to develop new skills and apply new approaches to marketing

Location: Office-based role in Waltham, MA

Reports to: Vice Presdient of Sales & Marketing
