There has never been a better time to join Live Nation.OUR ROLE:Guard, patrol, and/or monitor the venue premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. May operate metal detector equipment.WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DOEnsure guest safety through proactive personal interaction and removing hazards in the area of responsibilityPrevent and resolve altercations among guestsLead guests and other employees in emergency evacuation procedures and provide assistanceMaintain control by circulating through your work area throughout the shiftCheck identification of any guest who appears to be under 30 years of age who is drinking alcoholic beverages inside the venueMonitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security and safety of the premises.May write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.Ensure that no weapons or harmful items enter the venue by inspecting every guest with a metal detector or pat-down searchEnforce House policy regarding photos/videos/recording devicesSafeguard against theft and property damageCommunicate clearly using radios, hand signals and flashlights. Remain in constant contact throughout the shiftSet up area before opening (stanchions, table configuring, etc.)Keep interior and exterior of the venue clear and safe, cleaning spills and removing food, trash or other obstacles, before, during and after the shiftWHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRINGRequired:Ability to work late hoursFlexible schedule3 years’ work experience interacting with people in a positive environmentRead, write and speak English fluentlyTolerance of all cultures, music and art formsAbility to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsAcute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacyA strong-sense of teamwork and ability to execute programsPosition requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs+ and occasional sittingPreferred:Bi-lingualExperience recognizing valid ID’sExperience in a live music environmentSelf-defense trainingExperience using metal detection equipmentEMT or other medical backgroundPhysical Demands/Working Environment:Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressfulPosition requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feetEQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITYWe are passionate and committed to our people and go beyond the rhetoric of diversity and inclusion.
