SUMMARY

The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for designing assets and graphics for use online and in stores. The Senior Graphic Designer is an integral part of the marketing team, being a creative asset in curating advertising products and services. Creates any other visual assets needed for communication and information sharing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Designs visual assets and graphics for use in product advertisement in stores and online.Creates digital assets and graphics for use on digital devices to share information about products or services.Works closely with the marketing team to create assets that align with campaign initiatives.Makes aesthetically pleasing visual communication materials that aid merchandising in store.Designs visual assets that increase product visibility and customer engagement in stores and online.Designs and creates signage, posters, and flyers for in store sales and promotions.Designs and creates digital content and in media for in store activations.Creates and edits graphics for new store designs to enhance visual appeal, maintain brand consistency, and improve customer experience.Develops strategies to improve design quality to attract and retain customers, ultimately leading to increased sales and revenue growth.Protects the company's assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No supervisory responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONS

5 - 7 years of related experience.Experience working in a retail company preferred, specifically a footwear and athletic apparel company.Proficient with Graphic Design software Preferably the Adobe suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator, with InDesign is a plus.Ability to convert programs/strategies into operational plans and tactical execution.Strong bias for action with ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.Entrepreneurial attitude, ready to take initiative and invite responsibility.Strong written, verbal, analytical, project management, organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail.Understanding of Copyright Laws around distribution of content in a web-based formatGreat verbal and written communication skills to present ideas and visions of projects.REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of generally accepted Marketing principles.REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
