The OpportunityThis position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division, where we are focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology. drive go-to-market launch strategy, shape/define the product in partnership with the Product, Insights and R&D teams, deliver and ensure pull-through of the launch package for the Areas/Countries (including product training, positioning, key messaging, brochures and content), and be responsible for product launch success and driving growth of the FreeStyle Libre brand .What
You’ll
Work OnBe the global product and market expert, providing in-depth knowledge of market trends and dynamics, competitive landscape, critical market success factors, and customer needs
Serve as global marketing lead in new product development process, partnering with program management and development teams to define and develop next-generation products and on-market product improvements centered on meeting true user needs
Collaborate with key cross-functional partners (Insights, Product Management, Market Access, Strategic Planning) to drive direction of go-to-market (GTM) launch plans for new products and on-market product improvements.
Ensure pull-through of GTM plan in partnership with Areas and Country colleagues to meet launch objectives and roll in local learnings and insights.
Report to senior leadership team on development and progress through monthly business review process.
Partner with the Clinical team to develop and drive strategic publication initiatives that support new product launch and market development initiatives.
Partner with the Medical team to execute communication strategy that highlights the clinical value proposition of the FreeStyle Libre portfolio of products.
Develop and deliver product launch toolkits that provide impactful new product messaging and education to Area and Country commercial teams, including product training, positioning, key messaging, brochures etc.
Partner with Regulatory Affairs, Legal and Medical colleagues in the development and review of marketing materials to ensure competitiveness, accuracy, and compliance.

QualificationsBachelors Degree
preferably in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related fieldAt least 4-6 years related experience, with at least one year of experience in marketing or product management, or MBA with 1-3 years of related
experience.Preferred

Ability to collaborate with creative agencies to deliver effective Consumer and Healthcare Profession marketing materials
