Read on.What you’ll do:The SVP, Commerce Media will help grow our cross-channel eCommerce media practice. In this role, you will be responsible for developing our agency’s unique position within the commerce media landscape, as well as defining standards and best practices to deliver innovative and flawless campaigns.Day to day, your role includes:Continue growing our Commerce Media team in terms of thought leadership and best practices, as well as the planning and activation of campaigns across retail commerce space, including: Amazon (search and display), Walmart Media Group, Kroger, Target Roundel, and retail networks such as CriteoInterpret client needs, and develop strategic solutions that address the needs and goals for their business; a portion of this role’s time will be dedicated to existing eCommerce clientsPartner closely with Search, Precision, and Paid Social counterparts to ensure commerce plans fit within overall go-to-market approachLead 1-2 client businesses across retail media ensuring all activities across strategy, buying and measurement meet client business objectives and expectationsKey lead for client conversations, acts as bridge between media and shopper team for streamlining omni-channel strategies with key retail partnersOverseeing performance forecasts, budget allocations and providing data-based rationale for these recommendations.Identifying client issues and opportunities to develop new business opportunities within existing business.Support JBP negotiations annuallyPartner with agency leads across Creative, Technology, and Strategy to deliver connected commerce plans to our clients and develop industry-leading solutions for the agencyAssessing and pursuing new business opportunities, while maintaining and growing the company’s existing strengths. Support in any new business pitches and related work as required.Serve as liaison to Publicis Media Commerce practice to ensure we are bringing best in class tools and solutions to our clientsContribute to Commerce COE to support capability development across the agencyKeeping a firm pulse on changes to the marketplace and industry, adjusting marketing plans accordingly.Understanding and effectively communicating our value proposition, technology, and processes as related to the growth of current and prospective agency accounts.Active knowledge sharing with capability and broader agency.Embracing and encouraging a culture based on teamwork, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity.QualificationsWe’re looking for an exceptional media leader, which typically includes:A four-year degree and 15+ years of digital media experience, 8+ years of Retail Media experience10+ years prior experience managing team of 8+ FTEs Strong familiarity with the digital environment and a clear understanding of media planning and buying process (multi-channel knowledge and Criteo, Target, Amazon, Walmart, Kroger, etc. search experience preferred).Keen attention to detail and an analytical approach to achieving objectives.Strong understanding of media research tools – you know their strengths/weaknesses, and when and how to effectively use them (i.e., Edge, Gradient, PriceSpider, Content Analytics, Stackline, Feedvisor).Understanding and experience with campaign automation tools (i.e., Skai, Pacvue).Solid quantitative and research skills, and proven data interpretation capabilityFluency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).Strong ability to understand client objectives and how they translate into search and media strategies.Excellent communication and writing skills—you’re poised, precise, and above all, kind when relating to others.Willingness to travel as needed – you’re open to new places, new faces and new ideas.Able to package, merchandise, and sell in concepts and new opportunitiesStrategic thinking and able to see the bigger pictureSelf-starter with ability to work independently and in a collaborative team settingAdditional InformationCompensation Range: $200,000-280,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
