VP/ Group Dire

ctor, Video,

you will provide investment leadership across paid Video channels, both nationally and locally, including TV, CTV and Addressable TV. In this role, you will manage the Video investment team to ensure a consistent go-to-market approach and create synergies with our media strategy to exceed campaign KPIs.

– someone who can win the hearts of clients, inspire their teammates, and skillfully juggle multiple Video channels for a new piece of CPG business.

We are seeking a leader who will bring an innovative approach to buying, endless curiosity to identify new opportunities and an ability to achieve value through strong partner negotiation. You will be able to speak fluently to channel buying tactics; often acting as a representative of the full media investment team to clients and the marketplace.

Day to day your role includes:

Manage, optimize, and expand programs for all video channels to maximize the profitability of the marketing spend.

Oversee the work of a team, managing workflow and providing strategic guidance and oversight. Responsible for overseeing client performance & delivery across the portfolio of their brands.

Operate as a connective tissue with internal agency capabilities to ensure that all relevant teams are aware of media investment details and have a central point of contact to represent the broader investment portfolio.

Speak fluently to multiple Video channels – Linear, Streaming & Addressable

Act as primary point of contact for agency/holding company tools and offerings that bring immediate value to the client.

Leverage historic analytics/performance to validate investment strategies, inform tactical decisions and exhibit ongoing willingness to optimization performance for campaign success.

Work alongside client partners to determine how best to spend their media dollars to drive outcomes.

Bring innovative solutions and out of the box thinking to partners and clients.

Work within teams to troubleshoot and quickly problem solve campaign management issues as they arise, as well as effectively communicate issues with clients.

Manage and maintain relationships with internal practice leads and full investment team (up to 15+ people)

Be a leader through strength and stability — functioning as a point of escalation for clients and team members as needed.

This position reports to the SVP, Investments.

Qualifications

12+ years of media planning and buying experience, with a strong focus on performance media

Bachelor’s degree or higher, with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, communications, or equivalent

Analytical Video background – comfort with data and numbers

6+ years of people managing experience, overseeing five or more reports in an account management/client services team

Deep industry relationships with TV networks, streaming partners and other publishers

Excellent negotiation skills and understanding of how to add incremental value and communicate that to our clients

Strong communication and writing skills—you’re poised, precise, and above all, kind when engaging with others

Able to package, merchandise, and sell in concepts and new opportunities

Strategic thinking and able to see the bigger picture

Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a collaborative team setting
