Overview
We’re looking for an Associate Director, Creative (Copywriter) who is exceptionally qualified, eager to learn and a delight to work with. Your role involves creating innovative cross-channel communications, collaborating closely with Art Directors and senior creatives, and delivering polished, impactful work across various media. You will be expected to lead conceptual development, craft meticulous copy, and ensure consistency and effectiveness across all marketing assets.
Responsibilities
- Conceptual Leadership & Collaborative Vision: Work closely with Art Directors and senior Creatives to bring ideas to life in cross-channel communications, digital marketing, and site work.
- Exceptional & Meticulous Copywriting: Maintain a high standard of work ethic and attention to detail, ensuring copy is punctuated correctly, answers briefs effectively, and aligns with brand tone and style.
- Collaborative Spirit: Collaborate with creative teams including creative directors, art directors, designers, and coders to produce award-worthy work.
- Cross-channel consistency: Develop a single big idea that translates seamlessly across multiple marketing platforms.
Qualifications
- A four-year degree (preferably in English, journalism, or related field) and 7 to 9 years of relevant experience, preferably in an advertising or interactive agency.
- Energetic, humorous, curious, with sharp writing skills and experience in large cross-channel or direct marketing campaigns.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both internal and client-facing.
- Proven leadership ability to inspire and guide creative teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating talent in print and web media.
