Position Summary

The primary role of the Marketing Manager is to develop strategic marketing plans for the Hotel and oversee the implementation and execution of the various efforts associated with the marketing plan. This might include evaluating the results of various marketing campaigns, spearheading market research efforts, or coordinating initiatives across a variety of channels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage all social media campaigns and sites such as: Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok etc.Experienced with social media analytics, including Google Analytics and Facebook InsightsA social media savvy individual with experience in graphic designIdeate, write, edit, and publish high-quality digital content across a variety of platformsMaintain an archiving system for easy navigation of all marketing content (website, photography/renderings, social media, advertising, videos, etc.)Other duties as assignedCompose and distribute press releases for individual hotel promotionsDevelop on going media contact list for local marketEntertain and establish on going relationships with all local media contacts for future article inclusionsWork with individual hotel department managers on developing future promotions for media exposureEstablish on going partnerships with local retail, cultural and city contacts for joint hotel promotionsWork on behalf of the Director of Sales and Marketing on set marketing strategies by developing targeted email campaigns for weekend packages and food and beverage promotionsMaintaining and updating email lists for future campaignsDevelop and distribute recap reports to show success of individual marketing email campaigns and public relations effortsKeeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receiptOutlet promotions creations to drive additional revenuesCoordinate various events to promote the HotelResearch competitive hotels by identifying and evaluating hotel characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databasesImplements marketing and advertising campaigns; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendarsKnowledge and Skills

Bachelors or Associates Degree in related field required2 – 3 years of prior Hospitality/Tourism marketing experience.
