The BBU integrates commercial, market access, medical, digital, and corporate functions to drive scientific development and commercial excellence in the core areas of respiratory, cardiovascular, renal and diabetes disease.As a Marketing Manager in Wilmington, DE, you’ll play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives. The Marketing Manager is responsible for working with Brand Leadership and partner collaboration teams to develop, execute and measure aspects of the brand strategy. This role is specifically focused on – but not limited to – HCP Personal Promotion and HCP Multi-Channel MarketingWhat you’ll doLead execution of HCP personal promotion and HCP non-personal promotion marketing plansCollaborate with Associate Directors, Marketing Director, and collaboration partners to design and facilitate the brand's promotional planEnsure execution of brand tactics are consistent with brand strategy and prioritiesLead collaboration with agencies in development and execution of brand tacticsLead review process to ensure legal/regulatory compliance and medical accuracy of all marketing materialsPartner with Business Insight team to develop customer insight plans, success metrics and analyze performance of programsParticipate in annual operational planning process by shaping tactical plans and budgets required to achieve the brand's strategic objectivesManage promotional budget associated with brand marketing activitiesSupport and participate in team activities to create a positive work cultureEssential for the role3 years of pharmaceutical or related experience OR 3 years of marketing experience and 1 year in pharmaceutical industryBachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, sciences or relatedProven ability to lead without authorityAbility to manage complex projectsAbility to gauge the feasibility, impact and risks of proposed programsComfort operating in a highly regulated environment and industryStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDesirable for the rolePrior experience in Field sales, Respiratory or Biologics therapeutic-area preferredExperience launching new products or indicationsAdvanced Degree in Business, Marketing, or ScienceUnderstanding of US healthcare system pricing and reimbursementWhy AstraZeneca?At AstraZeneca when we see an opportunity for change, we seize it and make it happen, because any opportunity no matter how small, can be the start of something big.
