Film Tampa Bay represents one of the top 25 markets in the Country. A not-for-profit, public-private partnership division of Visit Tampa Bay empowered to attract, facilitate, troubleshoot, and permit filming in the Hillsborough County region.The marketing manager will work with the film commissioner on strategy and then develop corresponding marketing plans to increase brand awareness and social media presence. The manager will oversee campaigns, analyze trends, post social media content, and edit video content. This position must maintain collaborative relationships with partners, the film community, and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies.ResponsibilitiesPublish video content, articles, photo albums, etc. to appropriate social media platforms using Adobe Suite package.Gain data from all pertinent social media analytic services to develop accurate reporting to industry and stakeholders.Develop effective media exposure, distribute press releases, story pitches, media FAMs, and site visits by working with local, national, and international media.Write, edit, and distribute a monthly newsletter recapping the previous month's filming activity, events, initiatives, etc.Produce monthly podcast series highlighting local/regional production industry professionals creating exposure to Film Tampa Bay's target audiences. Create short clips of these productions to post to social media.Write and edit blog posts weekly relating to industry news, local events, Tampa Bay productions, etc.Directs and supervises the Marketing Coordinator, manages Film Tampa Bay's online store, networks with industry professionals and marketing agencies, and some out-of-state travel.Education Experience and QualificationsDegree in Marketing, Mass Communications, or related studies preferredFour years of related work experience in MarketingFamiliar with all social media platforms relating to marketing, data generation, and metricsStrong writing and editing skillsProficiency in Adobe Suite and other web and production programs
