Job Summary

The specialist will partner with the various cross departmental teams to develop the IAPP Booth Central experience for target audiences, with the focus to achieve IAPP's strategic goals. They will handle booth design recommendations, budget and expenses, onsite management, lead management, booth inventory/shipping, and exhibit support. The specialist will serve as a key contributor to advancing the company’s trade show program through innovation, efficiency, and analytics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Actively identify inefficiencies in Marketing workflow and develop processes and best practices to solve them, thus, maximize marketing performance.Conceptualize booth physical structure and attendee flow per event based on messaging strategy, space allocation, attendee volume to maximize business results (lead generation, product messaging, etc.) and provide an exceptional attendee experience.Negotiate vendor contracts and manage IAPP Central booth budgets and expenses while evaluating event effectiveness.Train onsite IAPP Central booth staff and oversee onsite logistics.Manage/assess inventory of promotional items, collateral, supplies for booth. Oversee the production and delivery of marketing booth structure, merchandise and collateral in a timely manner for all internal and external events.Create, maintain and analyze metric reports and documentation while examining booth activities, effectiveness, and business impact.Create, develop, and update a Marketing process document library.Create, maintain IAPP Central booth schedules.Review and update production template schedules and report automations.Attend internal and external events to represent IAPP as assigned.Maintain proficiency in and optimize technologies and programs used by marketing team.Additional Duties

Additional duties as assigned.Must be able to travel internationally on occasion.Minimum Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) with 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience using project management softwareKnowledge of creative development processStrong interpersonal and communication skillsPrior experience with SmartSheet is a plusHigh level of professionalism; a proactive, collaborative, self-starting team player who looks for ways to improve processesAbility to adapt to changing business landscapeProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
