The Global Creative Studio team within Global Brand Marketing supports the creative strategy and execution across Franklin Templeton's global business functions

The Motion Graphics Designer is responsible for developing creative for a variety of mediums and types including video for web and mobile, animated shorts, product demos, branding videos, digital signage, post-production online marketing campaigns and corporate communications. They will report to the Global Video and Digital Events Director and will work very closely with other members of the Creative Studio Design and Client Services teams, taking abstract concepts and minimal corporate visualization and turning them into exciting, cutting-edge motion graphics that are representative of the client's goals all within brand guidelines. Involvement is critical in all phases of the design process, including concept development, storyboarding, animation, graphic design and production.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Motion Graphics Designer?

Design and conceptualize the storyline based on script and creative brief provided.Produce compelling and engaging motion graphics and video communications that are on-brand and on strategy.Present still or motion concepts in client meetings, combining video, 3D animation, text, and other graphics into an integrated visual experience.Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver products on time and within budget.Implement best practices of localization-friendly productions.Create/secure/edit photos, video, and audio (music, narration, etc); ensure and/or secure rights to use. Retain source and target data for records management and version control.Continually explore areas of efficient improvements in the production process to help facilitate delivery of information fasterWhat ideal qualifications, skills and experience would help someone be successful?

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (fine arts, graphic design, interactive design, etc.).5+ years' experience with motion graphics at a design studio, post-production house, or broadcast television stationExperience in Financial Services an advantage but not a pre-requisiteKnowledge of business desktop applications i.e Microsoft Office essentialHighly skilled with, and deep knowledge of, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Cinema 4D or equivalent a plusExtensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design), Understanding of broadcast production a plusExperience with sound and editing programs, film shoots a plusStrong portfolio and storytelling skills, displaying advanced layout and grid systems, typography, color theory, concept skills, interactive design and video editingExpert knowledge of motion graphics production workflow, from design, animation, compositing and all technical aspects of rendering and exporting final videos.Experience executing motion graphics and video in a variety of venues, including online, mobile, and broadcast televisionAbility to adhere/respond to established time frames and schedules, with a sense of urgency and ability to work under pressureResourceful and aware of current and upcoming trends in interactive design to create innovative and effective animation solutions; willingness to embrace new design, video and audio technologies.Franklin Templeton offers employees a competitive and valuable range of total rewards-monetary and non-monetary-designed to support the whole person and to recognize their time, talents, and results. Along with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation. We expect the salary for this position to range between $110,000 - $125,000
