Digital Engagement Specialist / Community ManagerFull TimeHybrid (2 days a week downtown Chicago)$51-55k with benefitsPosition SummaryThe Engagement Specialist connects with the digital community of planning stakeholders, developing, and sharing content, listening to customers in social media and other online channels, and engaging with them as an advocate and voice for the brand.Critical OutcomesOur social media community is engaging and approachable with interaction among customers, key audiences, planning related influencers, building customer loyalty and a sense of belonging.Content curated and created for digital channels is aligned with and supports content strategy.Social Media campaigns drive positive ROI while also delivering learnings and opportunities for future campaigns and programs.Content reach is maximized and opportunities to drive awareness, value, sales, and engagement are optimized and delivering on program and product goals.Our presence in digital communities is a go-to resource for relevant, practical planning knowledge and expertise, and our channels are seen as critical venues for timely and relevant conversations related to planning and key planning issues.A deep knowledge of customer needs, wants, and preferences informs communications and the continuous improvement of our social media strategy.Priority messages, content, solutions, and perspective on critical issues and ideas are advanced through focused engagement and leveraged sharing across digital platforms actively helping set a positive narrative about the value of outcomes of planning.Core ResponsibilitiesContent

- Creating and curating engaging and innovative social content including micro content spanning video, audio, visual. Regular posting across all social channels, crafting and aligning messaging with content strategy, customer trends, and market changes to create interest and engage people. Develop and execute content that drives brand advocacy, positive reviews, and empowering recommendations among customers with focus on building value among current audiences and getting the attention of best prospects.Paid Social

- Execution of paid social media campaigns across all platforms. Integration of both everyday referencing (SEO) and Google Adwords (SEM) in connection with social network management. Partnering with colleagues to understand targeting and desired outcomes, providing recommendations for paid social, including but not limited to, key platforms and retargeting to boost results, gather learnings, and achieve outcomes.Listening

- Active listening to members of the social media community, customers, influencers, and priority content topics while keeping an eye on brand and relevant topic mentions. Using the ability to discern and determine what is most important to target audiences and align that with the organizational priorities in response and conversation. Use social listening to monitor positive/negative comments and topic trends, and strive to boost engagement, reply to questions, and resolve any potential conflicts with empathy. Stay up to date on new social /digital engagement opportunities, communication trends, and emerging platforms/platform changes.Engagement

- Responsiveness to inbound question/comments on social media content in coordination with customer service or other relevant teams when applicable. Consultation and collaboration on social media aspects of communications and marketing campaign plans. Creativity in developing methods for engaging and audience toward the success of a goal and building brand value. Relationship building skills with the community, and the target audiences. Representing the voice of the brand, engaging with customers and members to increase awareness, further the engagement portion of a broad customer retention and acquisition strategy while building customer loyalty. Establish and build strong future opportunity pipelines by following up on assigned data driven campaigns.Communication
