Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is required for this position.ResponsibilitiesThe print textile designer is responsible for:Creating and preparing artwork for factory useCreating factory-ready artwork tech packagesCleaning up hand-drawn artwork for printingIndexing artwork and performing color adjustmentsRecoloring existing artwork to suit different tones and seasons.Creating colorway options for specific design categoriesCreating original artwork designs based off inspirationSkills Required:Our ideal candidate will possess the following:4 + years of experience working in home fashion textile designUndergraduate degree in Textiles Design or related field preferredExtensive experience and talent working with printed textilesComplete knowledge of indexing artwork & creating repeatsComplete knowledge of Photoshop (Illustrator a plus)Good color sense to c reate colorwaysPainting and drawing skills to work from scratch is a plusExperience with jacquards and woven textiles is a plusKnowledge of print techniques for textile printing is a plusExcellent organizational skills for computer files and vendor informationStrong sense of technical knowledgeDesire to exceed expectations and self-motivate.Ability to prioritize, multi-task and adapt to changeMust be self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as within a team.Must have ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
