Hire Resolve's client is a leading Multi-disciplinary Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Senior Civil Designer in Harrisburg, PA.
Responsibilities:
Perform CAD Drafting with AutoDesk Civil 3D while utilizing survey field data.Prepare Site/Civil drawings including grading, utility, and SWM / E&S plans.Prepare various forms of site/civil details & exhibits.Provide office support; this includes performing area, slope, and volume computations.Ensure scheduling and productivity objectives are achieved.Perform field work on an as-needed basis; this includes observing construction and assisting Surveyors.Provide mentorship to other staff members.Additional duties may be assigned, as neededRequirements
High School Diploma (or equivalent).5+ years of professional experience working in Civil Design and/or Civil Drafting.Associate's degree in Civil Engineering, Design Technology, or a related technical field of study is a plus!Experience working on a variety of Land Development projects; experience with both greenfield and brownfield projects is a plus!Proficiency with engineering / CADD tools; experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred!Proficiency on standard Microsoft Office software applications.Proven ability to utilize technical mathematics.Proven ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.Proven ability to work in a self-motivated manner while effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments.Excellent communication skills (verbal & written); proven active-listening skills is a plus!Benefits
