The Royal Caribbean Group's Royal Caribbean Group brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Specialist, Gift Card & Marketing on the Sales team reporting to the Corp Incentives department.

This position will be working onsite from Miami.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting the Department's sales and marketing initiatives for Gift Cards and Royal Incentive Rewards (RIR). Works with the Manager of Global Marketing, Corporate Incentive Sales & Charters, and International offices to successfully develop and execute all Gift Card and RIR initiatives and marketing programs relative to the Global CMI Sales channel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Proactively owns and manages all sales and marketing aspects of the Gift Card and Royal Incentive Reward Program.Collaborate with Manager on the planning and execution of all department initiatives including sales, project management, and marketingResponsible for fulfillment of all gift card orders and gift card partner/gift card recipient inquiries. Ensure certificate programs are running smoothly and day to day tasks are handled on a timely manner.Manage department gift card/certificate & RIR program and ensure it is functioning at full capacity. Oversee reporting to Corporate Sales Manager, auditing of payments, reporting and analytics.Manage projects to implement new systems and procedures for gift card & RIR orders and redemptions. Collaborate with IT, marketing, web designers, accounting, finance, revenue management, and other internal departments.Support marketing campaigns for gift card channel & RIR. Prepare campaigns to present to Manager and AVP of CMIC. Briefs to include cost of marketing investment and projected return on investments. Work with Marketing team to prepare campaigns. Track and measure results of all marketing campaigns.Manage creation of marketing, sales and training tools for the department when it comes to Gift Card and Royal Incentive Rewards programs, which includes but is not limited to: brochures, PowerPoint presentations, flyers, training presentations, toolkits, training guides, etc.Plan, organize and ensure a successful execution of all gift card sales related events such as travel partner functions, industry trade shows and events, symposiums, inaugurals, ship reveals, & client events.Support the MICE Sales team with a wide variety of sales with a focus on growing the gift card and RIR channels of business by attaining new partners and expanding on existing partnerships.Build, establish and maintain excellent business relationships with travel agencies, incentive houses, gift card partners and corporate direct clients; in addition to creating and fostering effective working relationships with shoreside supporting departments (ie: Marketing, IT, Sales Administration, Revenue, International and more).Identify core sales and marketing needs and develop resolution processes.Assist with ad hoc marketing requests as needed which includes but is not limited to creative briefs, collateral creation, content development, website management and more.Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:

Bachelor's degree from a 4 year college or university recommended. 5+ years' experience in a sales/marketing environment, preferably in the cruise or travel industry.Experience with gift cards, certificates, loyalty rewards programs, etc.Able to produce reports, analyzing marketing campaigns and providing recommendationsExperience in project management & exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.Proactive, self-driven individual, able to think outside of the box and drive initiatives to completion.Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop strong relationships with middle and senior level management as well as external clients and vendorsCreative thinker.Able to travel - attend conference/tradeshows, client events, symposiums, etc. when necessary.
