Great American Risk Solutions provides industry leading non-admitted property and casualty products to the wholesale brokerage market. Our staff brings decades of experience in product development, claims handling, underwriting and service. Brokers count on Risk Solutions' innovative product mix to capture niche business and round out accounts with difficult exposures that need an expert's touch.

We are currently seeking an Event Planning Assistant to join the GARS team in our Cincinnati, OH office. The position will be hybrid in office.

Assists in all aspects of organizing and executing meetings and/or special events, including conferences, dinners, hospitality events, meetings, special events, trade shows, and other functions.Assists in coordinating tracking processes and procedures for registration/attendance, special needs, scheduling, and event participation.Assists in coordinating communications, including invitations, confirmations, collateral, meeting materials, etc.Maintains records of expenses.

Assists in coordinating logistics for the venue and amenities.Assists in researching and/or selecting a location and/or facility.Assists in researching menu and beverage selections.Assists in arranging transportation and/or accommodations.Assists in coordinating needs for presentations, including seating arrangements, multi-media equipment, meeting minutes/documentation, etc.

Builds working relationships with other functional areas (communications, travel, technology, etc.) necessary to accomplish tasks.Builds working knowledge of the organization, business/industry, and customers.Performs other duties as assigned.

Job RequirementsEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent.Experience: Generally, 0 to 3 years of related experience.
