Job DescriptionSeeking a Civil Designer to support land development projects for a growing civil engineering firm. This individual must be able to communicate well with our staff as well as clients and contractors. Work includes preparation of civil engineering drawings for site development including grading, storm water drainage, sanitary sewers, waterlines, storm sewers, and supporting design information. Project type includes education, residential/ multifamily, retail, restaurant, municipal, transportation, and more. A good opportunity to get exposure to a variety of project types and grow your career. Must be proficient within Civil 3D and have experience within site civil design.This is a reputable engineering firm founded in 1998, which has since grown to three offices and professional registration in 9 states. They have a large backlog of work and this individual will be able to work on a wide variety of projects. Looking for driven individuals that fit the company culture and are looking to grow their career with the company.Additional Skills & Qualifications-Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D required-2-3+ years Civil site design experience - site layout, grading, storm water, etc.-Proficiency within grading design, surface development, feature lines, pipe parts libraries, pipe networks-Ability to work quickly/ efficiently in order to meet strict deadlinesPlus:-Higher education within Civil Engineering or CAD-EIT or PEEmployee Value Proposition (EVP)-Variety of projects, can work on any of them so they are not pigeon-holed and work does not slow down typically.-Can help run projects as a designer once you feel comfortable doing so.-Career growth opportunities.
