Job Summary: We are seeking a Technical Writer to create and maintain documentation for the ePermits platform. The ePermits platform is based on ServiceNow and supports various permit application processes. The Technical Writer will be responsible for developing clear and concise documentation to support both internal and external users. Key Responsibilities: Draft and develop written materials to support the internal and external permit processes. Create documents such as scripts, standardized responses, knowledge base articles, SOPs, user manuals, and public-facing guides. Collaborate with FWS Technical Team, ePermits Support Team, and Customer Support Manager to ensure documentation accuracy. Maintain a repository for existing documents and ensure their continued relevance and accuracy. Respond to public inquiries in writing in a professional and clear manner. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, or a related field. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in technical writing. Proficiency in ServiceNow platform and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail. Ability to distill complex information into clear, concise documents.
