The Affordable Community Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of affordable housing property. This role ensures that properties are maintained according to regulatory standards, residents are supported, and occupancy is maximized. The manager will work closely with residents, property staff, and external agencies to provide a safe and well-maintained living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

-Property Management: Oversee the daily operations of the property, including maintenance, resident relations, and lease administration.Resident Relations: Address tenant concerns, resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with lease agreements and community rules.Compliance: Ensure that the property is in compliance with local, state, and federal housing regulations, including HUD guidelines.Occupancy Management: Monitor occupancy rates, manage tenant applications, and coordinate leasing activities to maintain full occupancy.Financial Oversight: Assist in budgeting, monitor expenses, and ensure timely rent collection. Report financial status to senior management.Maintenance Coordination: Work with maintenance staff and contractors to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of the property.Community Engagement: Develop and implement programs that foster a sense of community among residents.Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on occupancy, financials, and compliance to the Regional Manager.Staff Supervision: Manage and train on-site staff, including leasing agents and maintenance personnel.Emergency Response: Coordinate and manage emergency situations effectively, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents.
