Riam Recruiting has been engaged by our community hospital client in Glendive, Montana, to find their next Marketing & Public Relations Director.
The Marketing/Public Relations Director will oversee, coordinate, and participate in developing marketing strategies and products for the organization. You will help create and promote the corporate identity and mission to customers, the public, and employees by creating and distributing brochures, news releases, and other documents.
This position will have a small team of direct reports while overseeing the department's daily workflow.
This position is exempt; the compensation range is $62,000 to $93,000. Sign-on and Relocation are available.
Duties/Responsibilities:• Directs and implements the organization's advertising and promotional activities.• Analyzes target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches.• Identifies new market segments that will benefit from company products.• Through public-facing communication, develops and maintains a positive public image for the organization• Prepares effective advertising campaigns based on market research.• Composes, reviews, and/or distributes press releases and other public-facing communication.• Maintains knowledge on emerging products and services.• Collaborates with senior executives to develop growth plans for the organization.• Forecasts, drafts, implements, and oversees the department's operating budget.• Oversees and produces, from concept to completion, a broad array of digital and/or print promotional and communication materials for the organization.• Ensures that all materials present a clear, unified, and positive image for the organization and/or brand.• Plans, prepares, and distributes original promotional content on behalf of the organization, such as articles, news and press releases, emails, blog and social media posts, and other updates.
Education and Experience:• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required.• At least five years of experience in marketing and long-range planning preferred.
