Job Summary of the Junior Interior Designer positionIntegr8staff seeks an ambitious Junior Interior Designer with high-end luxury furniture experience. The Junior Interior Designer should be a creative, self-motivated and detailed individual who is collaborative, and can contribute to a wide range or product development projects.
Responsibilities of the Junior Interior Designer positionCollaborate and interface seamlessly with the designers, architects, contractors, fabricators, artisans, and developers on multiple projectsResponsible for supporting the process on material sourcing and specification, custom furniture design, visual research, mood board creation, furniture sourcing, graphic and visual presentations, while adhering to fast-paced project timelines
Requirements of the Junior Interior Designer position1 to 3 years of experience in interiors or architectureA four-year degree from an accredited schoolPassion for design and an eye for detailExceptional 2D drawing and rendering abilityWorking knowledge of the full design process including Concept, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Procurement, and InstallationProficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Rhino, and Microsoft Office Suite3D modeling and realistic rendering skills preferredMust be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skillsWillingness to adapt to the daily needs of the design team.
