The Humanities Department seeks to hire adjunct faculty to teach Communication ( COMM ) 101 – Public Speaking. This 3-credit-hour course focuses on strategies for public speaking, public presentations, and conducting meetings. Effective approaches to audience analysis, establishing speaker/presenter credibility, assembling/organizing information, and all verbal, visual and other non-verbal aspects of delivery are addressed.

Job is largely sedentary, but there is a need to move about the office and buildings frequently. Occasional bending, stooping, lifting, pushing and/or pulling is required (typically less than 10 pounds).
