The Video & Social Media Specialist supports Roosevelt University’s communication goals via videography, photography, and social media. Reporting to the Social Media Manager and working closely with the Director of Brand Marketing, the Video & Social Media Specialist will produce images and video content for the Roosevelt University website, advertising, marketing materials, and social media channels (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc).

All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application.The Video & Social Media Specialist is responsible for helping to develop and produce content in support of strategic marketing/enrollment goals. As a member of the Marketing & Communication Department, The Video & Social Media Specialist will work to create digital content that helps tell the Roosevelt story.The Video & Social Media Specialist will display a strong background in visual storytelling and an understanding of how video integrates with and supports content across various communications channels (social media, web, print). Expert knowledge of current video and audio production equipment, technologies, and software is essential. Superior knowledge of social media trends, audiences, and platforms is paramount.The Video & Social Media Specialist will work collaboratively with department peers on projects and will produce content for various University channels. They will be responsible for all aspects of digital content creation, including researching, shot planning, shooting, and editing. They will work collaboratively with the Social Media Manager and other department members on distribution and posting. The Video & Social Media Specialist will be responsible for managing the university YouTube account, including optimizing the current page for prospective student search.COVID-19 Vaccination Policy:
