We do not settle.Position SummaryWe are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented creative agency Project Manager to oversee all aspects of our photo studio. The ideal candidate will be someone who has project or account management experience within a creative agency, having worked with in-house or external photography studios during your projects. You will be responsible for managing pre-shoot preparations, scheduling, ongoing logistics, and post-shoot activities to ensure seamless project execution. This role requires excellent communication and coordination skills to liaise with various internal teams and clients effectively.Experience3+ years' experience in project management or similar role.2+ years' experience with a creative agency.2+ years' experience working with photographers (preferred).QualificationsProven experience in photo studio management or a similar role.Strong organizational and project management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Proficiency in budget management and resource allocation.Familiarity with photo production processes and logistics.Key ResponsibilitiesPre-shoot:Define the type of project (concept shoot, website shoot, package design shoot, marketing shoot, photoshoot only) and create individual timelines and approaches.Determine the scope of the project, including the number of shots and style (lifestyle, hands, recipes, etc.).Develop a working budget and align it with key stakeholders.Understand and manage the overall project timeline, ensuring that resourcing needs are met.Create estimates to secure work proposals.Scheduling:Organize kick-off calls with the internal team (Studio, Project Managers, Art Directors, etc.).Develop estimates based on initial meetings, including shoot length, additional talent, contractors, rentals, props, and off-site locations.Collaborate with stakeholders to finalize the estimate/budget and assess feasibility.Schedule and create calendar events for all team members involved in the shoot.Update photo status and manage project milestones in team meetings.Schedule internal pre-production meetings one week prior to the shoot.Ensure internal approvers are informed and held accountable for their responsibilities.Ongoing Scheduling Tasks:Map out remaining photoshoots for the year and adjust the calendar as necessary.Communicate any changes to the team, including project managers.Maintain a bird's eye view of projects to balance them effectively.Ongoing Pre-production Logistics:Lead photo studio status meetings and manage product requests.Confirm product preparation with Publix locations and ensure timely delivery.Coordinate product storage, organization, and documentation with the studio and PM team.Finalize shot lists and ensure the shoot schedule is complete.Source rentals, additional equipment, specialty props, and off-site locations within budget.Secure talent and hair & makeup services, liaising with the Art Director and talent agency.Book travel arrangements for talent and creative team members if necessary.Communicate with guests, organize catering, and manage logistics during the photoshoot.During Shoot:Send photos for approval and track shot progress.Ensure adherence to schedule and manage client feedback.Coordinate with project managers on shoot status and shot count.Confirm catering orders and assist with talent management.Post-shoot:Communicate with Art Directors to confirm selects and notes for retouchers.Brief retouchers within 3-5 days of the shoot and ensure resources are available.Monitor and ensure timely delivery of final assets.How to applyPlease send your resume and a note describing why you would be a good fit to careers@.
