This is an on-site position.Who we are and what we do:The Mission of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is to preserve, conserve, manage, protect, and enhance the fish and wildlife of the state and their habitats for the use, benefit, and enjoyment of the citizens of Tennessee and its visitors. The Agency will foster the safe use of the state's waters through a program of law enforcement, education, and access.The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency has come a long way since it was established in 1949 and was called the Game and Fish Commission. Completely reorganized in 1974, it now consists of more than 700 professionals dedicated to the preservation, conservation, and enhancement of Tennessee's fish and wildlife for the enjoyment of all Tennesseans and our visitors.

Job Overview:The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is seeking applicants for the position of Communications and Marketing Specialist. This position is located in Nashville at the Agency's central office and reports to the Communications and Outreach Director.

Key Responsibilities:Social media management including provide customer service by answering questions and comments from constituents, the creation of social media content to highlight agency stories and public information, and work to schedule digital advertisements and promotions.Coordinate website content by creating and publishing original content and updating and maintaining timely information for customers.Production of external digital newsletters and customer information including copywriting and story sourcing.Completion of administrative responsibilities including work reports for supervisor and state required time reporting, expense reporting, and mandatory training.
