Educational Opportunities for Children and Families (EOCF) is in our 56th year of operation. We continue to be the leading provider of comprehensive early childhood education and family support programs in Southwest Washington serving more than 1,350 children and families furthest from opportunity annually in our federal and state early learning programs. Another 2,000 children are served in the HotShots Youth Sports program for children grades 1-6. EOCF's service areas include Clark County, Long Beach in Pacific County, and the Woodland portion of Cowlitz County. Equity is at the center of the services we provide as we strive to reduce parity gaps between families and employees through best diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.

If so, the Marketing and Development Specialist might be the right match for you! You will be the newest member of EOCF's Culture & Development team with responsibility for advancing marketing and development objectives with primary focus on social media content management and administrative functions in support of marketing communications, donor stewardship, and fundraising. This will be based out of EOCF's Administration headquarters in Vancouver, WA, with a flexible schedule including work on evenings and weekends as needed to attend meetings and community events. This is a full time, benefitted position. Scheduled for 40 hours per week starting at $26.13 with a cost of living allowance increase coming soon.

What skills can you bring to the EOCF team?

Education and Experience

An Associate's degree is preferred, in marketing, communications, business management, public relations or related field and a minimum of one year of similar experience. Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the work will be considered.

Outstanding oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to produce accurate and professional correspondence and reports.

Demonstrated ability to create audience-tailored story-driven written and digital content.

Experience managing social media platforms including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required; WordPress, MailChimp, Harness and Little Green Light desirable.

Must be comfortable with ambiguity; able to multitask and work well under pressure.

Ability to communicate effectively, work cooperatively and exercise good judgment with staff and partners from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Possesses a sense of urgency; self-motivated, and detail-oriented
