Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Director US ERT Marketing for a contract position in San Rafael, CAThe opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Position Summary:

This Director, North America Brand Management- Marketing will report to the Director, Brand Management and will be responsible for designing and executing marketing strategy and tactics for North America (US, Canada and Puerto Rico) to support awareness and early diagnosis of various health disorders and increased use of targeted productsDemonstrated strategic and tactical marketing, organizational, problem solving, communications, and project management skills are required as well as enthusiasm to collaborate in a thriving team environmentStrong results orientation and a sense of urgency to get things done are criticalThis professional should be a disciplined individual that embraces innovative approaches, and is comfortable in a nimble and growing commercial organizationThe TEMPORARY Director, North America Brand Management - Marketing must be creative and adaptable to unique and changing situations, be goal-oriented, know how to set aggressive, achievable targets, and motivate internal teams as well as third-party vendors and agenciesA strong passion for supporting patients with Rare Disease through compelling marketing and educational programs is essential.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Active member of North America brand teamCollaboration with other marketing team members for Brand Management team meetingsCollaboration with cross-functional team members (e.g., sales, field based clinical support, HUB, market access, compliance, medical) for full Brand team meeting preparation and executionFrequent cross-functional collaboration with multiple internal groups (e.g., compliance, sales, field based clinical support, market access, medical, commercial learning and development, marketing operations, etc.)

Presentation of key activities and initiatives to Brand team and Commercial executive management, as neededCollaboration with marketing team to prepare annual brand plan and associated budgetsLead patient marketing and education strategy and development of tactical planLead collaboration with Nurse Clinical Coordinator teamSupport HCP marketing, strategy and tacticsLeadership (strategic and operational) of the MPS digital landscape, including patient-focused web and social properties for the MPS teamPartner with Digital Community team for optimal planning and executionStrategy and implementation of additional digital assets for patients (e.g., email campaigns, videos, adherence programs and campaigns)

Coordination with advertising agencies and internal graphic designers on the development, execution, and maintenance of materialsPlan appropriate rollout and training of materials during POA meetings for live and/or webex training, in collaboration with Commercial Learning and Development TeamPlan and lead Advisory Boards and Market Research with the patient and physician community for insight collection to drive brand strategyCoordination of submissions and approvals of promotional materials to Promotional Review Board (PRB) review process; sit on PRB team as the commercial reviewerActive member of the Global Brand Team, representing North America Marketing, including attendance at ongoing global team meetings and annual brand/business planning eventsActive member of the Global Digital Strategy Team, representing North America Brand ManagementMinimum of 8 years of related experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, preferably within Rare Disease.Orphan drug experience strongly preferred.Experience with strategic and executional marketing required, including direct to patient marketingIndustry sales experience beneficial, but not required.Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment is critical.Strong facilitation and leadership skills requiredAbility to interact with/positively influence all levels of business across multiple departments.Strong analytical skills, solid general business skills and a good understanding of the US pharmaceutical markets.Excellent project management, attention to detail and executional experience a must-have.
