The Role and What You'll Do:

The Senior Art Director is a visual storyteller, creative problem solver and tasteful explorer who thrives in the passion of new, unexpected and big thinking that drives results for our clients especially in the world of experiential, activations, hospitality and events. We will encourage you to use every tool in your creative arsenal to create meaningful design and visual stories that engage consumers wherever (or however) they will experience your work. We build, we draw, we take pictures, we research, we geek out on technology, we get our hands dirty, we get into the weeds, and we manifest completely new ideas into existence.

As a Senior Art Director at 160over90, you will typically partner with a Senior Copywriter on creative assignments sharing the driver seat on projects, campaigns and daily tasks. As the Art part of the team, you have a deep passion for design and a keen understanding of experiential execution and how to bring the world of design into a spatial environment. Knowing the demands of and experience in traditional and digital media is a big plus. You get excited not by just concepting and presenting great work but experiencing and building out how that work comes to life. The proof is in the pudding and you love making work that works in the real world.

Senior Art Directors are responsible for brainstorming creative experiential concepts and owning that work in client presentations. You express your ideas clearly not just through art direction, but face-to-face, zoom-box-to-zoom-box. You're the kind of person that truly gets excited by making things and tinkering with design in three-dimensional space and how best to design consumer movement through those spaces. You have a knack for storytelling and presenting ideas in a way that make people fall in love with your ideas. You're collaborative, organized, accountable, give proper attention to the detail of your craft as well as integrating your teammates into your process.

With fearless creativity and independent effort - you roll up your sleeves and can deliver high quality work in a time-crunch while also leaving space in your workflow to mentor and train-up junior creatives.

While all creative staff reports to the Head of Creative, Senior Art Directors report to Associate Creative Directors or Creative Directors on a project basis and ultimately to the VP/GCD of their group.Play a hands-on role in the delivery of outstanding creative and results, working collaboratively within a cross-disciplinary team, including creative teammates, strategists, account team, production partners and discipline leadsEnsure consistency and efficacy of design throughout all creative before anything goes live or comes across the desk of the clientArt Direct creative from concept to end product with the ability to self-manage multiple projects and tight timelinesWork within the client's established brand guidelines and/or establish ways to customize the brand guidelines to fit an experiential or project askLeverage talent for design and concepting to contribute to work that solves for consumer needs and business goalsSuccessfully communicate creative ideas by confidently presenting your creative to leadership and stakeholders (and occasionally clients) by articulating and rationalizing creative decisions with strategic insightsStay consistently relevant and up-to-date on all marketing trends and culture in an effort to bring fresh ideas, sharing with peers and the broader teamAt the same time, your work should stay ahead of the trend curve (ie. What will become on-trend or culturally relevant 6-months, one year or two years from now?)Develop exceptional concepts for a wide range of marketing with an emphasis in experiential but also in the world of branding, content, social, digital, print, OOH and moreAppraise and edit your own work - being your own best and worst critic and recognizing a good idea when it landsWork closely with project managers, account, and production teams across the lifespan of a projectBring to life ideas for new business pitches and existing clients across presentationsWork effectively with all stakeholders to complete projects within timelines and budget parametersYou Have These:

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the range shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Endeavor strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.

Hiring Range Minimum:$105,000 annually

Hiring Range Maximum:$140,000 annually
