SUMMARYHulu’s Content Acquisition team is seeking a Senior Associate who will be an exceptional addition to our TV content team, with a primary focus on Scripted and International TV. As a Senior Content Acquisition Associate, you will participate in the content acquisition process - tracking and evaluating content opportunities, defining our programming strategy through thorough analysis of data, operationalizing closed agreements, and providing ongoing deal management. This role demands someone who can blend quantitative output with a strong subjective filter to create meaningful insights, dynamic interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively motivate change - all at a breakneck pace.

WHAT YOU'LL DOSupport the formulation of content strategy and communicate that strategy internally and externally, using data to drive key business decisions and optimize our content portfolioTrack and evaluate content, both off-Hulu for potential licensing opportunities and on-Hulu for performance analysisContribute to strategic relationships with content partners and support the negotiation of licensed dealsOperationalize deals, leading all aspects of deal close and deal management, including collaboration with Marketing, Product, PR, Finance, and LegalComplete long term and ad-hoc projects, including competitive analysis, to support the strategy of the Content Acquisition TV team and Hulu overallWHAT TO BRINGExperience in and/or passion for TV content in both 'old' and 'new' media, and an understanding of how the industry is changing and why3+ years of relevant work experience at either a major media company or a top tier consulting firm / investment bankGraduate-level skill in quantitative analysis and data-driven storytellingEffective communication skills to disseminate information to relevant stakeholdersExceptional attention to detail and process managementStrong business judgement, and proven critical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to thrive in an evolving and fast-paced environment, prioritizing and handling multiple projects concurrently, often with little supervisionFinely-honed sense of humor and willingness to participate in lively debatesNICE-TO-HAVESHands-on experience in the TV industry, especially ones that brought you into contact with content acquisition and/or content strategyInterest in international and scripted contentFluency in a foreign language
The hiring range for this position in CA is $102,000.00 to $136,700.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.#J-18808-Ljbffr
