Position Overview:

Retail Engagement and Marketing (REM) ensures the flawless development and execution of world-class experiences and communications across all medias and platforms for our client's Retail Division. We are looking for a smart, self-driven production designer with smart, beautiful designs, pixel-perfection, and an unmatched eye for detail. This person will partner closely with design leads, creative teams, and marketing partners to build smart, clear, beautiful work for both internal and external projects.This role requires blending design and production expertise to bring ideas to life with meticulous detail. The Production Designer will ensure the original design vision is maintained through every stage of implementation.Responsibilities include maintaining design consistency, overseeing project transitions from creative concepts to mechanical production, and ensuring excellence and consistency in every project. Whether working on Today at our client's, internal communications, learning or events, this role transforms creative concepts into stunning realities.

Responsibilities:

Supporting creative and design teams with project implementation, and creating design and production that is pixel-perfect. You will collaborate effectively across teams, utilizing your expertise and experience to enhance project outcomes.Anticipate and solve issues addressing potential design and production problems related to localization, geo considerations, image cropping, scaling, resolution, color, and finishing.Strategize and adapt designs through planning and execute on core creative elements across various digital and print deliverables, adapting designs to different aspect ratios, scales, languages, and geo considerations.Building production guidelines by developing documents, outlining design direction and production specifications for internal and external partners.Demonstrating resourcefulness and adaptability in meeting project needs will be important. Enhance workflow, tools, and processes, therefore improving efficiency and quality in design and production tasks.Effectively work and communicate with other creative staff members, vendors, producers, and directors.Articulate ideas in a manner that is clearly understood by senior creative and project management staff.Be able to meet deadlines on assigned projects.

Key Qualifications:

7+ years of production design experience in an agency or in-house corporate graphic design environment.You have in-depth knowledge of all steps required in the creative process, have excellent design and production skills, consistently deliver high-quality work and have attention to detailsExpertise in mechanical production, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Highly proficient in photo retouching, Sketch and Bridge.Experience of implementation of creative design direction across various mediums.Versatility to work off sketches, rough digital layouts, and verbal communicationYou can discern when work may be "off track" and when to ask senior creative staff for advice. Actively seek feedback and redirect own work with limited supervision.Effective partnership skills, maintaining professionalism under tight deadlines and in ambiguous situations. Experience in a very fast-moving and cross-functional focused environment.Self-starter, self-motivated, problem-solver, able to work independently, and can manage multiple projects under minimal supervision.Highly adept at working with diverse teams: creative, project management, events, photography, editing, and content.Strong written and oral skills.
