We love what we do and hope you do too - come join us!WHAT YOU'LL DOThis is a growth opportunity for those with 3 to 5 years of experience in the video or television production industry. Key to this role is the ability to plan and coordinate all aspects of a production and to understand live multi-camera production. Types of productions include studio, remote, and virtual productions streamed to enterprise-level platforms for high-level corporate clients. This position is responsible for the organization and execution of productions from pre-production through invoicing. This is an exempt position and reports to the Director of Production.Day-to-day responsibilitiesClient & Project ManagementServe as the client’s main point of contact during all stages of a production.Communicate effectively with clients to determine their production needs.Provide a viable logistical and technical solution in line with the client’s budget.Provide necessary guidance to clients to ensure a successful production.Assist Sales with the project budgeting process. Assure that all production components remain within the allotted budget and on schedule.Schedule and communicate all aspects of the production crew and vendors. Negotiate rates as needed.Be present during production days and oversee the entire production to ensure success for the client.Problem-solving / Multi-taskingBrainstorm ideas and provide solutions to enhance production value.Manage multiple projects simultaneously without jeopardizing deadlines or outcomes.Lead the production crew during challenging situations and effectively communicate progress and next steps to clients at appropriate times.OtherProvide guidance and instruction on various technical production roles to other internal staff to best serve the client.Stay current on technical abilities by continuing to practice and train on various technical production roles.Execute various production position duties as needed.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR3-5 years of experience in video production, broadcast television, live events, or similar fields, including studio, remote, and virtual productions. Experience in crewing, webcasting, and transmission is a plus.Proficiency in live video production technical roles such as Technical Directing, Camera and Audio operation, Encoding, and Live streaming platforms.Experience in creating and designing technical production solutions for both studio and field productions.Ability to maintain a positive attitude, even during pressure situations.Ability to communicate challenging aspects of a production to clients while maintaining confidence and leadership.Track record of being organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and working well in a team atmosphere, as well as having the capability to work well individually.Strong work ethic, self-direction, self-motivation, patience, persistence, and the ability to get along with coworkers and customers.Excellent oral and written communication skills, including necessary documentation.Superb customer service skills.Responsible and reliable.OTHER REQUIREMENTSValid driver’s license and safe driving record.Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, PC and Mac computers, and basic IT knowledge.Travel may be required based on time and location of remote productions as well as meetings at VideoLink Bureaus and client offices.Ability to lift/carry 50lbs.Ability to climb ladders and perform overhead work.AREAS FOR GROWTHAlthough this position does not require direct reporting, each individual project should be considered a team that you must lead and motivate.Managing and mentoring and proactively looking for better ways to grow the department.WHY YOU'LL LIKE WORKING HEREEnjoyable company culture.Medical benefits, including vision and dental.PTO days (vacation, sick days, and personal days) and paid holidays.5 Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).Training and professional development opportunities.If your interest and skills match the needs of the position, please provide a cover letter and fill out the online application.
