Spur Design is looking for a Graduate Interior Designer to kickstart their career with us! The ideal candidates are recent graduates with a Bachelor's or Master's in Interior Design, and has up to 4 years of professional experience. Must have some REVIT software experience, have strong creative skills, and be ready to assist in developing and implementing design concepts. If you're organized, eager to learn, and excited about contributing to innovative projects, we'd love to have you join our team!JOB REQUIREMENTSAssist the Project Architect and Interior Design Lead in the development and implementation of creative concepts and solutions according to the Scope of Work and client specifications.Collaborate with and assist the Project Architect and Interior Design Lead in order to develop a project from initial idea to profitable completion.Some travel may be requiredManage and organize multiple project assignments to complete architectural projects for Interior Designers or Project ArchitectsConduct project and product research for finishes, fabrics, and /or furniture selections related to assigned projects. Help establish and maintain the Spur Materials Library in the OKC office.Develop project finish requirements including but not limited to: Room Finish Schedule, Material Boards, Concept Ideas, and Renderings.Join team members at weekly coordination team meetings when necessary.Assist with on-site observations and draft reports for Field Investigations.Provide interior design in compliance with local, federal and VA TIL standards.Daily responsibilities to include but not be limited to:Working with project team members to produce quality construction documents.Ensuring compliance with Spur standards and quality control.Assisting Interior Designers and Project Architects with technical needs and drafting assistance.Participate in mentorship programs empower spur employees.QUALIFICATIONSEntry Level Interior Design graduate with Bachelor or Master's degree in Interior Design0-4 years of professional experienceWorking towards professional hours for NCIDQ and/or passed at least one exam for NCIDQA portfolio of student design work or completed designsExcellent technical skills, must have or learning REVIT software experienceStrong creative design and ability to find unique solutions to problemsTime management- must be able to work with several designers on different projectsGood customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills between architectural team, consultants, and clientsAbility to assist in selection of appropriate materialsBENEFITSBenefits offered with the full-time position include 27 total days of paid time off, sick time off, holiday time off; Healthcare, STD, LTD and Life Insurance plans; reimbursement for professional exams and continuing education; and retirement contributions as follows:15-25 days of accrued personal time off (PTO) based on years in professionPaid Holidays including:New Year's DaySpur Design Inception Day (observed the Friday before Memorial Day)Memorial DayIndependence DayLabor DayThanksgiving Day and the following FridayChristmas Day and the weekdays between Christmas and New Year's DayShort-term Disability (STD) and Long-term Disability (LTD) are provided at no charge and include compensation of up to 60% of annual base salary.Life insurance in the amount of up to $100,000 or 2x annual base salary (whichever is less) is provided at no charge.Health Insurance, employer covers 100% of employee premiums and 50% of family premiumsDental Insurance, employer covers 100% of employee premiums and 50% of family premiumsVision Insurance. employer covers 100% of employee premiums and 50% of family premiumsRetirement benefits include matching 401k contributions of 1-for-1 matching up to 3% and 1-for-2 matching up to 5%, with a maximum match of 4% for a 5% employee contribution.
