Executive Communications Strategist

to become part of the System Communications team and support our dynamic and visionary Chief Executive Officer. The role calls for a deep understanding of strategic communications and a sophisticated curiosity about the trends and forces impacting the healthcare industry today. The ideal candidate will have a confident professional presence and the ability to authentically capture the CEO voice and translate complex information into compelling messages that advance BayCare's Mission to serve the community's health.BayCare offers a competitive total reward package including benefits, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, 401k match and additional yearly contribution, yearly performance appraisals and team award bonus, community discounts and the chance to be part of an amazing team and a great place to work!Responsibilities:Shape CEO communications strategy under the direction of the Director of System Communications, the Chief of Staff and the CEO.Master the CEO voice in written and spoken communications.Draft content, including but not limited to briefings, blogs, newsletters, speeches, video scripts and talking points for CEO use when communicating with internal and external audiences.Collaborate with System Communications colleagues on the coordination and promotion of high-impact CEO engagements using a multi-channel approach.Manage content and engagement on key CEO social media profiles.Work with Creative Services colleagues to develop and promote the CEO's visual identity across communications channels.Report to the VP of System Communications and work with the Chief of Staff on high-impact executive positioning opportunities, such as conference appearances, speaking engagements, award ceremonies and more.For this role, we are looking for a candidate who has a minimum of 5 years of professional writing and editing experience with a bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or a related field. Experience in corporate communications, political communications or journalism preferred.The ideal candidate has experience navigating complex organizations, synthesizing direction from leadership teams and thrives in an evolving environment.
