Our PR agency client is looking for an account executive with a strong public relations, communications and content background to join their team! This role is fully remote, 40 hours per week, on an ongoing basis. Candidates must be located in Pacific time zones to be considered. This position will convert to a full time hire for the right candidate. Candidates located in California cannot be considered. In this role you will work with healthcare, technology and enterprise technology accounts but may also support clients in other industries, most likely all B2B. To do this you will: - engage in media outreach, including pitching/ story development - effectively develop written materials including articles, press releases, byline articles, FAQs, client correspondence, status reports, etc. - execute PR campaigns and projects for clients - grow and maintain client relationships by supporting Account Managers and other firm leaders - develop strategic account plans and new business proposals - manage development and maintenance of media lists, coverage trackers and other key client-facing materials - oversee day-to-day planning of press events, client functions and/or networking meetings The ideal Account Executive will have: - minimum 4 years of experience in public relations, preferably in an agency setting and/or within the tech industry - minimum 2 years of experience as an account executive involved in developing media materials/ media outreach - experience developing press releases, PR plans, blog posts, proactive pitches, social media content and briefs - ability to prioritize and multi-task in a challenging and fast-paced environment - ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with journalists, industry analysts and key influencers - understanding of social media and how it can be leveraged to support a clients objectives and communication strategy - strong understanding of PR planning process + AP style - strong presentation skills and the ability to facilitate client meetings and media briefings and participate in new business presentations Candidates will need to provide their own computer for the freelance portion of the role Creative Circle's Freelance Employee benefits package includes eligibility for Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) medical plan, dental/vision/term life package, discount prescription program, critical illness, accident, tele-behavioral health, and 401(k) plan.
