JOB SUMMARY

The SEO Specialist is responsible for implementing strategic SEO initiatives, QAing optimizations, and ultimately, reporting out on results for our clients' websites. They play a crucial role in driving organic growth and overall digital marketing success for our healthcare clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Technical and Content Optimization

Performs necessary website and competitive research to recommend optimizations that will improve a website's performance.

Website QA

Audits websites in both staging and live environments to ensure all SEO recommendations are implemented correctly and communicate any discrepancies that need to be fixed

JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES• Performs keyword research to optimize content and uncover new opportunities• Makes content optimization recommendations based on keyword research insights and competitive opportunities• Crawls and audits websites to identify technical opportunities and errors that hinder SEO performance• QAs staging and live site environments to ensure all SEO recommendations are implemented correctly• Pulls information from multiple sources and tools to visualize data for SEO performance reporting• Assists in data analysis to drive reporting insights and recommendations• Routinely monitors clients' site health and performance by crawling the websites, checking analytics data, and track keyword rankings• Works with SEO team to audit websites, uncover opportunities, and make recommendations to improve a website's SEO• Maintains internal/client status reports• Assists in other responsibilities as needed such as succinct and effective note-taking, scheduling meetings, and other administrative tasks

EDUCATION

DEGREE/DIPLOMA

Bachelor's degree

AREA OF STUDY REQUIRED/PREFERRED

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word• Competent in advanced Microsoft Excel functions/formulas: charts, graphs, pivot tables and VLookUp• Able to locate, extract, organize, and evaluate healthcare industry news publications including but not limited to healthcare advertising best practices and regulations, HIPPA compliancy, and market landscape for clients' brands• Understands content and technical SEO tactics and how they affect a website's performance• Ready, willing, and able to dive into the details of the client's web analytics to draw performance insights• Demonstrates ability to multitask, keeping multiple projects on-track and executing work in a timely fashion• Has active listening skills to apply learnings over time

SALARY

$60,000 to $80,000 annually

The salary range for this position is noted within this job posting.
