Associate Media Director, Cross-Tier Paid Social

is responsible for the overall success of the ongoing paid social media campaign activations for Lexus and LDA. The ideal candidate for this position has a passion for paid media, specifically social media, and a proven track record of implementing successful paid social media tactics on multiple platforms. This person must also possess a passion for continuous improvement and learning as the landscape continues to evolve. Prior supervisory experience is required.RESPONSIBILITIESOversee the day-to-day activities and develop a team of 3 Social Media Strategists on the Lexus national business.Collaborate with LDA Digital to effectively supervise managed service provider execution of LDA campaigns.Sustain connection with Organic Social team to facilitate sharing of best practices and uncover opportunities for Paid implementations.Act as the first touch contact for the paid social platform and technology platform partners as well as organic social team.Develop and advise on ongoing paid social media activation plans based on Lexus and LDA RFPsWork closely with all platform partners to ensure plans constantly push the envelope and include the latest and greatest ad tech and formats available for automotive.Supervise all financials for Lexus including campaign spend, fees, and ensure all billing is properly actualized each month. Support LDA Digital fulfillment of same.Develop and manage campaign activation workflow and communication protocol between planning, operations, creative, analytics and managed service teamsDeliver technically accurate media points of view for activation recommendations and campaign outcomesCommunicate key learnings to appropriate agency and client stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficiency of campaign deploymentQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communication, Computer Science or related field5 years of paid media experience, with a minimum of 5 years of experience with paid social advertising and client management including supervision of an external managed service providerProficiency in Meta, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, Reddit, LinkedIn and Twitch that includes a clear understanding of each platform’s core features, as well as a technical understanding of each network’s advertising capabilitiesProficiency with both Business Manager and Ad Manager dashboards for all core platforms, including ad placement, budget management, pixel creation, offline event sets, and advanced reportingFacebook Blueprint Media Buying Certification strongly preferredProficiency in tools including Sprinklr, Google Campaign Manager; experience in Box, Google Docs, Prisma, etc.Experience handling large media budgets and developing insights based on campaign resultsStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsAbility to apply critical thinking and analysis in business writingExcellent organization and time management; ability to prioritize workload and multi-taskProven experience in a leadership role – inspiring cross-discipline teams, client leadershipAutomotive experience is strongly preferred, major brand/large budget experience is requiredAn ideal candidate will be a self-starter with natural curiosity, comfortable in the unknown, and a strong communicatorHave a passion for social media, be an avid user, and have a passion to stay in the loop on the latest social media trends, capabilities, and platforms
