Job Title: Mechanical Designer

Job Description

This individual will create shop drawings for customer approval and fabrication.

Works closely with all departments (project management, machining, and fabrication).

Collaborate with the design team, project managers, and clients to understand project specifications and requirements.

Interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to create accurate drafts and provide value-engineering insights.

Use Inventor, Woodwork for Inventor, or other drafting software to create precise and detailed millwork plans.

Develop millwork solutions incorporating cabinetry, casework, fixtures, and wall system products.

Work with management to identify and implement continuous improvement ideas.

Work with project and production management to ensure projects are completed on time.

Assist in developing written processes and procedures for the engineering department.

This is a fully on-site position in North Canton, Ohio.

Work Environment

Fully onsite role. Very clean manufacturing floor. The office space looks like a showroom with custom wood paneling, tables, and industrial fixtures. It overlooks the production floor with floor-to-ceiling windows. Great culture, small family feel.
