The Manager, HR Corporate Communications role develops and manages large-scale internal communication strategies for some of our most important employee programs across the enterprise. We're looking for a leader and a team player to partner with key internal clients and work closely with the corporate communications team and functional teams across Cox's businesses. This position reports to a Senior Manager of Corporate Communications.

The Manager, HR Communications role develops and manages large-scale internal communication strategies for some of our most important employee programs across the enterprise. We're looking for a leader and a team player to partner with key internal clients and work closely with the corporate communications team and functional teams across Cox's businesses. This position reports to a Senior Manager of Corporate Communications.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute strategic communications plans to drive awareness and participation in programs and benefits provided to employees.
  • Leverage a broad range of internal communications and project management skills to build trust and relationships.
  • Foster relationships with internal partners to serve as a trusted advisor.
  • Partner with the Content and Channels, Executive, Public Relations and Creative Studio teams to develop content as needed, including videos, presentations, branding, articles, key messages, social content, and toolkits.
  • Build and maintain internal relationships within Corporate Communications and Corporate Affairs team, division communicators and stakeholders across Cox.
  • Supervise freelance contractors, and outside vendors, including external printers, writers, and others.
  • Continuously measure the effectiveness of internal communications strategies and introduce best-practices and new tactics as necessary.


Skills You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline such as journalism, communications, English, or marketing and 6 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field.
  • At least 10+ years of professional experience in a strategic internal communications role, specializing in HR Communications.
  • Technical expertise in communicating HR programs, including employee benefits, compensation, learning & development, performance, mobility and other offerings.
  • Knowledge and understanding of communication campaign development and execution.
  • A collaborative, supportive leader and team player.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
  • Ability to work on multiple, simultaneous communications programs that require both strategic thinking as well as high-speed tactical execution.
  • Excellent writing and verbal and project management skills required.
  • Ability to execute with speed, high level of accuracy and efficiency, attention to detail and follow through.
  • Creative problem-solver; implements sound judgment knowing when to make independent decisions and when to collaborate.

USD 88,300.00 - 147,100.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $88,300.00 - $147,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
