Role Summary:

As a Senior Product Designer at inKind, you will be responsible for designing and testing new feature concepts for the inKind app as well as gathering future user insights. With a deep focus on how users interact with and navigate our products, you will work to create an intuitive and easy-to-use interface that invites users to become habitual adopters. In this role you'll work closely with others on the Product, Development, and Marketing Teams to create robust prototypes, test products and ensure that the final product creates consistent brand experience across every platform. You will improve user experience, help drive continued growth, and uphold company and team culture.

Create functional and visually captivating features for our websites, mobile apps, and other digital formats that address our customers' needs and feedbackIllustrate new features and changes to the inKind app with storyboards, wireframes and user flow diagrams to weigh the pros and cons of a design and inform the product development processWork with our visual designer(s), product manager(s), development team, and other internal stakeholders to deliver UI mockups, prototypes, MVPs and final productsDesign and conduct user surveys, interviews, and other types of testing to gather feedback; analyze and implement optimization changes based on resultsBe the voice of our customers by collecting and translating their needs into user-friendly designs and have a direct impact on the customer's user-experienceCreate, maintain and advocate for Figma/Sketch component libraries built for our scaling organization and teamsProvide continuing support for mobile UI including the aesthetics with mockups and prototypes as well as generating release notes and marketing assets for app releasesManage web purchase UI/UX including the improvement of conversion rate to the inKind platformCreate required visual assets and design documentation for the iOS and Android developers to implement new featuresMonitor potential UX problems and help establish design QA systemMinimum Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a design role with escalating responsibilitiesBachelor's degree in graphic design, computer science, information technology or a related fieldSkilled with design in Figma with specific experience building design systemsHistory of mobile and web design (UX/UI)Experience with component and symbol librariesPreferred Qualifications:

5+ years of experienceDesign experience within consumer hospitality marketplaces and softwareExperience with motion graphics/animation is a plusHigh proficiency in FigmaWork Environment:

The candidate in this position will be primarily located in an office environment and be exposed to lighting, temperature, and noise level conditions typical of that environmentThis position is primarily in-person, with an expectation of in-person work at the physical office location in Austin, TexasSome of our Benefits:
