ResponsibilitiesProduction/design for collateral pieces, including but not limited to, event posters, gaming guides, invitations, direct-mail, etc., as directed/assigned by Marketing Manager(s) or Director of Marketing.Production/design for advertisements in various mediums through the direction of the Director of Marketing.Production/design for property newsletters and other marketing related client communications.Production/design coordination of materials with outside print shops to ensure quality and timely delivery of product.Directly supervises other Graphic Designers. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.Assist in obtaining cost estimates from outside vendors such as photographers, illustrators, mail shops, or printers.Uses knowledge of current design software to produce visual materials for advertisement, on-site signage, direct-mail, casino promotions, web site production and informative or instructional material through a variety of media outlets.Prepares cost estimates for projects within quality specification and approval.Prepares final layouts for Production. Checks proofs for accuracy.Reviews final layout, suggesting improvements as needed, and presents final layout to Marketing Manager for approval.Assists in maintaining portfolio and filing system of marketing collateral, film, and branding materials.Will perform off-site press checks with printers, coordinate obtaining estimates, and purchase orders.Prepare notes and instructions for creative team members who assemble and prepare final layouts for printing.Lead and manage a team of graphic designers, providing direction, support, and guidance on projects.Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually appealing strategies that align with brand objectives and campaign goals.Evaluate design concepts and finished artwork to ensure they meet quality standards and adhere to brand guidelines.Coordinate and prioritize design projects within the team, establishing timelines and ensuring deadlines are met.Communicate with clients or stakeholders to understand their vision and develop design solutions that meet their needs.Provide ongoing mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and creativity.Assist in preparing budgets for design projects and monitor spending, ensuring efficient use of resources.Research and analyze design trends and technologies to keep the team informed and to inspire innovative solutions.Develop and maintain style guides and templates that ensure a consistent visual identity across all marketing materials.Conduct regular performance evaluations for graphic design team members to foster growth and address any challenges.Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed.Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications

Exceptional guest service skills required.Casino experience preferredAA degree in Advertising or Graphic Design preferred.Minimum two years of managerial experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.4 years of marketing or related field requiredExceptional organizational, communication, leadership and interpersonal skillsExperience must be in computer design and production of printed materials on the Mac platform.Must have demonstrated professional knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 3, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, and familiarity with Dreamweaver and Flash.Demonstrated professional knowledge of Digital Pre-Press Production.Demonstrated experience and training in topography, layout, and design in the printing/production process required.Must be highly creative and have an eye for detail. Copywriting experience preferred.Must possess excellent proofreading skills, and ability to create original designs. Must be familiar with current graphic design best practices.Demonstrated experience determining market trends, competition, potential markets, and recommending methods to expand and develop marketing operations within the gaming industry.Demonstrated experience in developing, organizing, and completing projects within budget and time constraints. Proven problem-solving, organizational and multitasking skills are essential.Ability to maintain professional, courteous, and effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and outside business contacts.Skill in solving practical problems and dealing with situations where only limited standardization exists.Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.Skill in identifying and resolving administrative problems under pressure conditions. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class A gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency.Valid driver's license.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires repetitive movement daily with sedentary work, occasional bending and crouching. This position requires being outside in different weather conditions when at work events. This is a 24 hour, 7 days a week work operation.
