Visual Graphic Designer

smartdept. is searching for a Visual Graphic Designer for a design services client. The ideal candidate will come with

3+ years

of experience. This is a

part-time (15-25 hrs/week)

project-based ,

fully remote

contract opportunity

with the possibility of an extension . Compensation for this position is expected to be

$25-30/hour

depending on experience level and fit.

What You'll Do:

Establishing creative direction for the company within brand guidelines, and translating strategic direction into high-quality designWorking with a variety of teams and clients to develop new approaches and create compelling designsCreating visual concepts by hand or with software, and developing the layout and production of artwork for a range of materials, such as decks/briefs, logos, web pages, packaging, products, presentations, signage, and marketing materialsCreating the visual brand identity for a company or organizationEnsuring projects are completed on time and to a high standardStrong design skills including graphic designWhat You'll Need:

Education/Experience:

*Bachelor's degree in design and/or certificate in graphic design required.*3-6 years experience required.Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Basic understanding of Google Slides and Canva is a plus
