This department is responsible for selling our mobile video ecosystem to enterprise organizations and Fortune 500 companies throughout the United States.Job Description

The Sales Director will take ownership and lead a team(s) of sales professionals and work closely with our channel partners to proactively develop opportunities, grow revenue, and gain market share in the enterprise marketplace. The Sales Director will be at the forefront of developing and executing effective sales strategies, building and managing an exceptional team of sales and market experts and fostering invaluable relationships with channel partners and end user organizations.Responsibilities are but not limited to:Develop strong, trusted advisor relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the customer base in order to understand and influence fundingResponsible for the strategy and execution of the identified strategic priorities and projectsEffectively lead internal teams on critical projects and issue resolution with clear direction and purposeMaintain target Customer intelligence data in Motorola CRM system Provide timely & accurate sales forecastDrive strategies with enterprise customers for Motorola success in the customers procurement environmentBe responsible for achieving both order and revenue financial performance for their assigned team’s territory by creating and maintaining a healthy team pipelineNetwork with key Motorola Solution’s work partners including; pre sales engineers, area services team, marketing; product management, sales operations, order/credit management to insure your territory objectives are metEnablement of our channel partner communityAccurately forecast territory order and revenue numbers on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basisLeverage enablement tools like promotions and incentives to drive current quarter revenue targetsConduct joint end user sales calls as a method of coaching and trainingFunction as a coach/consultant for Account Managers to drive efficiencies and contributionsBe aware of competition and technology disruptors that may impact your market and partner communityUnderstand Motorola Solutions contract terms & compliance requirementsSpecific Knowledge/Skills:Master's degree with 6+ years of sales/management experience is preferredStartup experience beneficialExperience in the following vertical is highly preferred: Retail, Healthcare, Hospitality, Education, Manufacturing, Private Security, Transportation, Loss PreventionExperience working with and managing channel partnersEffective and proven negotiation skillsAbility to develop and maintain relationships with C-Level executives in Fortune 500 accounts.Ability to drive strategies with enterprise customers and navigate their purchasing environmentsUnderstanding of the enterprise domain, Motorola portfolio, competitive landscape; customer procurement processes and has dealt effectively with enterprise decision making landscapesAbility to quickly learn Salesforce as the project reporting tool and forecast methodMust be able to travel greater than 60% of the timeCandidates can live anywhere in the United StatesBasic Requirements
