Implements customer-specific marketing initiatives. Evaluates the success of marketing initiatives by analyzing key consumer insights.Core Responsibilities1. Independently initiates and / or leads client marketing programs, initiatives, promotions or research projects.2. Creates client marketing plans by translating business objectives into defined marketing goals, strategies, and tactics. Aligns client marketing activity with deep understanding of sales strategy and targeted market. Identifies marketing opportunities based on segmentation analysis and client insights to drive client engagement, retention, and new business opportunities.3. Provides guidance and consultation on client marketing best practices and common obstacles based on prior experiences. Directs client marketing plans well-informed by the competitive landscape and suited for the regulatory environment. Maintains a strong knowledge of Vanguard's business and clients to enhance marketing effectiveness.4. Serves as a trusted advisor and internal expert to ensure the right solution is developed for various partners. Proactively communicates status and issues of marketing activity regularly to stakeholders, including sales professionals, business leaders, team members, and senior managers.5. Builds and maintains effective relationships. Proactively fosters communication between internal department and external departments stakeholders. Influences key decisions across stakeholder groups.6. Proactively identifies, manages, and mitigates risks on client marketing activities. Communicates solutions on key issues on marketing activities to management and stakeholders to obtain their input and buy-in as appropriate.7. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimum five years related work experience, two years of marketing experience.Undergraduate degree in Marketing or equivalent experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
