JOB OVERVIEW The Director of Marketing oversees project management and the implementation of tactical marketing initiatives for all 604 locations. This self-motivated individual will possess excellent cross-cultural communication, writing, and copy-editing skills. Reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing, the Director will be responsible for developing and executing 604 Hospitality’s marketing strategy and budgets while maintaining and strengthening the brand and promoting the company culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Build and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and budgets.

Create and approve a calendar of marketing campaigns.

Measure ROI on various marketing methods.

Analyze market trends and conduct competitor research.

Maintain customer focus and manage vendor relationships.

Track budget expenses and develop pricing strategies.

Utilize market knowledge to drive results.

Demonstrate strategic planning and management proficiency.

Cultivate client relationships and exhibit strong verbal communication skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and direct cohesive marketing strategies, budgets, and calendars for all 604 entities, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with corporate sales strategy.

Collaborate with the executive and senior leadership team to create location-specific marketing strategies.

Lead regular meetings with general managers to enhance the guest experience by resolving marketing challenges, brainstorming solutions, and providing communication training to ensure high touch points with guests.

Oversee the design, development, and enhancement of promotional and informational content for websites and email marketing.

Design and manage social media content strategy; work with the social media coordinator to ensure timely and relevant posts.

Track and report the effectiveness of content and adjust strategies as needed.

Spearhead marketing campaigns, including segmentation, testing, tracking, reporting, analysis, and recommendations.

Develop and implement marketing plans, strategies, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive customer interest and sales.

Construct and actively maintain a media database to support upcoming public relations initiatives and engage in media outreach with relevant content.

Oversee the copywriting for marketing collateral, digital advertising, social media, speaking abstracts, and public relations.

Manage monthly website content and posts for all 604 locations to ensure alignment with events, menu posts, & specials.

Oversee marketing aspects and execution of company-affiliated off-site events, including tournaments, sporting events, festivals, fundraisers, and concerts.

Execute and support company efforts to improve brand management with consistency and awareness.

Develop and sustain strong working relationships with internal personnel across all functions of the organization, cross-culturally.

Participate in marketing and senior leadership meetings to align strategies and share insights.

EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related preferred.

5-10 years of experience in progressive marketing communication roles.

Successful track record in senior marketing roles and campaign creation

Proven experience as a manager with strong knowledge in marketing, finance, or other related managerial positions, particularly profit-loss statements and expense management.

Confirmed use of design skills focused on creativity, resourcefulness, and ingenuity.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

Excellent organizing and leadership skills

Commercial awareness

Analytical mind and familiarity with data analysis principles

Passion for the hospitality industry.

Fluency across multiple social media platforms.

Basic working knowledge of various computer software programs and expert use of (G-Suite, restaurant management software, etc.)

Past work with digital marketing forms such as content marketing and social media marketing

Proven budget management abilities

Maintains a professional work ethic with excellent attention to detail

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, changing work environment

Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
