Google AdWords, Bing, Yahoo, and DuckDuckGo Campaigns:

Plan, create, and manage SEM. You’ll use your analytical skills to optimize these campaigns, ensuring we get the best bang for our buck •

Social Media Advertising

: create ads for multiple personas and buyer journey stages on Facebook, LinkedIn, NextDoor, ad more; familiarity with geofencing is helpful •

Website Updates

: create landing pages and website content that engages people •

Graphic Design:

Whether it’s a social media post, a flyer for an event, website design, or an ad, you’ll use your design skills to create eye-catching graphics that tell our story •

Video Work:

Have a knack for video? Great! You’ll be producing short videos for online ads, social media, and more, bringing our services to life in a dynamic way •

Data Analysis:

Dive into the data to understand what’s working and what’s not. You’ll analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements, ensuring we’re always moving forward •

Writing and public speaking

: you’ll be writing blog/website content and email sequences, as well as talking to the public at events about our work. You should be excited about using your creativity to write without AI help – and also know when to use resources like ChatGPT for inspiration Qualifications: • Demonstrated experience driving B2C customer and lead acquisition for high consideration, high value purchases • A balance of

technical skills

and

creative thinking

• Experience with

Google AdWords

(helpful if you also do Bing, Yahoo, and DuckDuckGo ads)—you know how to set up campaigns, monitor them, and tweak them for optimal performance • Proficiency in

graphic design tools

like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) or Canva at a minimum • Experience with

video editing

– even better if you can produce videos, know about lighting, etc. • Strong

analytical skills

—you’re comfortable working with data and drawing actionable insights from it • 1-2 years of experience with a marketing-specific college degree OR ​3-5 years of marketing experience instead of a degree (note that a college degree is not required – real world marketing experience is valued!) • Helpful if you know Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint • Helpful to have an understanding of building trades – such as knowing technical details about HVAC installation, water heaters, plumbing, electrical panels and be able to translate that technical complexity into what the average person can understand​ • Basic knowledge of home construction / appliances and why building electrification is important – even better if you have extensive hands-on knowledge of building construction or renovations (or have managed your own renovations on your house)​ • Enthusiasm for talking to people – you’ll be out at occasional weekend/evening events in person explaining why switching appliances to run on clean electricity can help people save money, live more comfortably, and help the planet
