Description

The Industry Marketing team at UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) is seeking a skilled and collaborative Industry Marketing Manager to assist in elevating UKG brand awareness in the market and driving growth within the various segments of the manufacturing industry.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who takes the initiative to understand the industry, customer needs and how human capital management and workforce management solutions help organizations thrive. This multi-faceted role works in harmony with internal and external stakeholders to develop messaging and content that drives our efforts in sales lead generation, program marketing, events, field outreach, and account-based marketing that support our go-to-market plan within manufacturing.

As an individual contributor, you will be able to work independently, be a subject matter expert and highlight industry trends and challenges. You will be an impactful storyteller that demonstrates how UKG solutions are differentiated to uniquely exceed company business and people goals.

Core Responsibilities:

Industry and Thought Leadership

• Research and analyze industry trends, pain points and priorities to amplify UKG’s ability to solve challenges related to their workforce

• Identify opportunities where UKG can be viewed as a thought leader in the manufacturing sector

• Develop articles/blogs/speaking opportunities to extend thought leadership position on critical manufacturing issues

• Understand industry and HCM buyer personas to effectively amplify UKG relevancy

• Work with Social, Customer Marketing and PR on social media campaigns that demonstrate UKG industry expertise

Content Development and Program Support

• Lead the development and refinement of messaging/collateral that connects industry workforce priorities to UKG products to amplify value and benefits for various buyer personas in the manufacturing industry

• Develop industry-specific messaging in support of various campaigns/programs working with demand generation, field marketing, PR, digital marketing, sales, and other stakeholders. Activities to include webinars, direct-mail programs, website copy, trade shows and special events

• Develop impactful sales tools and marketing collateral including white papers, briefs, eBooks, infographics, presentations, and other content for the manufacturing industry

• Continuous education of UKG products to align industry challenges to solutions that solve them

• Assist in developing agenda, associated content and speakers for annual Industry Executive Summit (customer conference) for the manufacturing vertical

• Attend and assist in planning and executing select trade shows, conferences, and meetings

Strategic Sales Support

• Support individual manufacturing sales executive opportunities and/or prospecting strategy including RFP responses, messaging guidance, presentation development, account specific collateral, RFP responses and more

• Partner with the industry sales leaders and teams to identify market opportunities and priorities to develop programs, events, and initiatives that drive UKG awareness, customer/prospect engagement and revenue growth

• Collaborate with sales and demand generation team on ABM and individual account strategies

• Communicate marketing initiatives to Sales partners via weekly newsletters, calls and meetings

• Work cross-functionally with departments that support the vertical sales team on a variety of projects and events

• Update internal sales collaboration platforms (SharePoint, Airtable and others)

• Work with sales to identify customers who are willing to participate in various advocacy projects such as speaking engagements, webinars, customer stores or blogs. Support customer throughout the engagement

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• 3-5 years enterprise software experience in marketing, experience in Manufacturing sector and / OR supporting products that support manufacturing industry.

• Strong PowerPoint skills required: Experience with presenting in front of small and large groups virtually and in-person

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or business administration

• Experience in SaaS marketing and/or sales is preferred

• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills and an ability to work and collaborate cross-functionally

• Ability to learn quickly and work at a quick pace with a results-driven mentality

• Strong organizational and project management skills

• Aptitude for technology and ability to connect and translate concepts to customer value

• Ability to demonstrate a strong interest in understanding what motivates people to purchase products or solutions and influence buying decisions

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Salesforce preferred

• Flexibility to travel up to 15% of time

• Location information: Hybrid. Two office days in Lowell, MA or Weston, FL office
